THE ENCHANTER

🪄 Introduction

Welcome to Fang's Enchantment Shop. Please feel free to browse the shop and please be careful to heed any items that say do not touch. Not all items are benevolent and she takes no responsibility for any curses bestowed upon the ignorant.

Of course, yes, Fang offers quests on occasion that could have special rewards, the items listed below are just a general idea of what she has to offer, though she only will sell weakly enchanted items to the Adopted (at this time). They have yet to prove themselves able to handle anything stronger. Still, what she is willing to sell is available for repayment in IOUs, chores, helping around the shop, and for trade.

Note: This is not an RP post and the NPC is yours to play with. This is meant for world building and is by no means a limitation to your imagination. Comments are disabled, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via FAQ or Mod Contact.

🪄 Building

When the adopted draw near, the doors magically open for them, as if sensing that they wish to enter. Upon stepping into the main room, Fang will greet them by setting down her latest romance novel and coming out from behind the counter in a flourish of rich colored robes and the ozone of magic.

While not dirty, the shop is a little unkempt and cluttered, not everything is labeled, though if inquired about, she knows exactly what it is without pause. There are all manner of magic items: cloaks, broaches, daggers, masks, etc. Fang is glad to discuss all things magic, though she talks with an air of being better, no matter how skilled the Adopted proves to be at magic.

When exploring, the Adopted will find a room to the right that is brightly lit and welcoming in the smell of leather and old books. The Book Room is stacked full of all manner of books, though all touch on the subject of magic. Some are blank for not taking or spell scribing, other books are worn with age and barely keeping from crumbling away. Nearly every book here is enchanted.

While there are chairs and desks to sit and read or take notes, there is an hour limit, as this is a business not a library. Also, there's a huge selection of used romance novels.

The Display Room is a beautiful room to the left that has a number of display cases to protect the more expensive, powerful, and dangerous magic items for the Adopted to explore. Lockets and cufflinks, rings and fans, wands and armour.

Anything that can be imagined and more can be found here, the room seems almost endless, stretching on for a good distance, yet like a dream, no matter how far the Adopted proceed forward, they are always at the entrance as if they never took a step further.

Towards the back, there's a beautiful door with a cord wrapped around it's handle. Clearly, this is the door to the backroom. If the Adopted approach it, Fang will watch them curiously but not stop them. Because no matter what they do, the door will not open, will not budge. It's locked tight and impenetrable.

Why is there blood smeared on the handle?

Don't worry about it.
