🍻 Introduction

Well aren't you gorgeous? Please, come in and welcome to BaE by the Bay, the local Brewery and Eatery. Also known as a pub. Also yes, the body of water is more of an estuary lake than a bay, but semantics. Regardless, have a drink, take a seat, do you need some food? Did the bartender, Anahita, just wink at you? Yes to all of the above.

Why of course, Anahita offers quests on occasion that could have special rewards, the services listed below are just a general idea of what she has to offer on an average day. All of which is available for repayment in IOUs, chores, helping around the pub & brewery, and for trade.

🍻 Building

The atmosphere upon entering is immediately welcoming, jovial, and full of life! The bar is front and center and Anahita is very welcoming and flirtatious. It takes a second, but it becomes clear that the bottom half of the bar is made of water and houses marine life. But it's not glass that holds it in place, just magic. Did a merm just swim by and wave? Indeed! They help bartend when Anahita is busy elsewhere.

Anahita loves to trade stories and entertainment for what she offers, so pull up a seat and stay awhile. There is an open door to the kitchen just to the left of the bar, but Anahita kindly asks that patrons steer clear as her chef is very particular.

Turning around, the Adopted will find the main room that is just lined with tables of all make and model, chairs, booths, and a raised stage where people can perform. Most often there is live music, but sometimes there is other entertainment. But for a pub, where most people would expect unpleasant smells, the room has a malty and fruity scent that fills the slightly cooler air.

While there is warmer seating near the fireplace, Anahita is confident that her alcohols and feisty drinks will keep the Adopted plenty warm.

Right of the entrance, is a door that leads to the brewery, located in the second building. Adopted are welcome to explore and even purchase kegs and bottles that are available for sale. While the upper floor has a number of barrels aging and stacked prettily, it mostly houses the equipment to make all manner of alcohol. But it's in the cellar of the building that truly holds the gold.

The cellar is massive and stretches under both buildings with kegs upon kegs of aging alcohol and fermenting wines and beers and... aging cheeses. Some of the fae who work here are happy to offer samples of anything that's been tapped.

A bit further in is the racks. No no, it's not as terrible as it sounds, it's merely where they store the aging wine and alcohols that have been bottled. Some wine and alcohols here are hundreds and hundreds of years old. There are even some that glow beautifully with aging magic. Those are not for sale as they are kept for the Court Rulers.

Regardless, Adopted are encouraged to look around, but nothing in this room is available for sample or purchase and no customers are ever left in here alone. But should they do quests for Anahita? Well, then maybe that 500 year old scotch can be theirs.
