THE INN

🛏️ Introduction

Welcome, please come in and take shelter in the safety of Anemone's Rest, the local Inn! No need to be shy, this is a good place to grab some food, rest one's feet, and find a warm bed to sleep in. If there is any trouble following the Adopted that seek shelter here, Yaretzi will gladly ward it off, even if it means throwing some punches about it. She does not take lightly the safety of her patrons.

While yes, Yaretzi offers quests on occasion that could have special rewards, the services listed below are just a general idea of what she has to offer on an average day. All of which is available for repayment in IOUs, chores, helping around the inn, and for trade.

🛏️ Building

Upon entering the Inn, the Adopted immediately feel welcomed by the scent of food, the perfect warmth, and the friendly voice of Yaretzi bidding them come in. Approaching the desk, that also doubles as the bar, they will be greeted with genuine fondness and quickly offered to be fed and watered. She's immediately mothering in the kindest and most unobtrusive way possible.

She makes it known quickly that all she really wants in return is your safety and a couple chores, most of which is just cleaning up after yourself. Even with the inn room - wash your sheets, make the bed, sweep up.

While technically the same room as the desk, the dining room is large and spacious with lots of tables and chairs and a few nooks to hide in. The fireplace is always going though never too hot, always putting out the exact amount of heat the adopted needs to be perfectly warm.

The room is fragrant with honey and fresh bread, the scent of food cooking and clean floors. There's no space for dancing and music though, she will direct you to the pub for that. This is more a place of food, rest, and retirement from the day.

Back behind the desk, though a door is the kitchen which is a little warmer than comfortable and absolutely bursting with food and pleasant smells. While spacious, Yaretzi doesn't like too many cooks in the kitchen and is likely to shoo the Adopted out of there.

Still, when she's not in the kitchen making amazing food, the adopted are welcome to grab a snack, get some water, do some clean up of their dishes or the counters as repayment. Just don't mind the locked cellar.

Up, up, up the stairs is a number of inn rooms available for the Adopted and others to stay in. Each bed is plush and every room is unique. Some are more floral and others more rustic, some with many beds and others with one large one. There's somehow always one that fits the exact needs of those who're staying that night.

There are baths that fill by magic and seating areas to prop one's feet up. It's cozy and the fire can burn all night without a single worry or concern, always keeping the patron comfortable.
